APS Club No. 68806 Since 1972

The Dallas-Park Cities Philatelic Society (DPCPS) was founded in Dallas in 1961 as the Dallas Philatelic Society, primarily to serve the rapidly developing suburban areas north of downtown. The club later combined with another collector group that had formed to serve collectors in Highland Park and University Park, two adjacent communities also located in North Dallas.

For several years in the 1970s, the group sponsored a stamp show, held at the now defunct Valley View Mall.

The society’s journal, Stamp and Tongs, has been published intermittently for 62 years.
